On , the bulk carrier CSL Tadoussac was berthing under the conduct of a pilot in the Port of Québec, Quebec, when the vessel struck the berth. The vessel was damaged. There were no injuries or pollution.
On , 3 of the Manitoulin’s crew members were crossing over a submerged mooring line in the vessel’s workboat while proceeding to shore near Sombra, Ontario, when tension came on the line and it struck the workboat. The impact caused all of the crew members to fall overboard. One of the crew members swam to shore and the other 2 re‑boarded the workboat. No injuries were reported.
On 11 July 2020, the general cargo vessels Florence Spirit and Alanis collided near mile 16 in the Welland Canal, Ontario. Both vessels sustained major damage to their hull structures. No injuries or pollution were reported.
On , an unregistered small fishing vessel with two persons on board was reported missing off Sally’s Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador. The vessel had sunk and the search and rescue responders later recovered one crew member with minor injuries and one deceased.
On , the passenger ferry Spirit of Vancouver Island struck the dock while berthing at Tsawassen Terminal, British Columbia. The vessel and dock sustained damage. Three occupants (two crew, one passenger) sustained minor injuries.
On , while the tug Risco Warrior was holding the barge Western Carrier against the dock at Mellersh Point in Bute Inlet, British Columbia, an explosion occurred in the tug’s battery compartment, located in the lazarette. The vessel sustained structural damage, and 2 crew members on board sustained minor injuries.
