The Transportation Safety Board of Canada Releases its Final Investigation Report into the Capsizing of a Fireboat in Halifax Harbour, Nova Scotia
(Gatineau, Quebec, November 17, 2009) - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) will hold a media availability by phone on November 18, 2009 to make public the final TSB investigation report (M08M0062) into the capsizing of a fireboat in Halifax Harbour, Nova Scotia on September 17, 2008.
The following members of the investigation team will be available to answer questions and provide interviews by telephone:
Starting at 10 a.m. Atlantic time on November 18, 2009
Mr Don Eaves, Investigator in Charge
Mr Guy Bussières, Investigator (Stability Issues), and
Mr. Pierre Murray, Regional Manager of Marine Investigations (TSB policies)
